  • Dwight Carlson

    Chief Executive Officer

    Dwight Carlson has been the Founder, Chairman and CEO of Coherix since 2004. Coherix was founded to transform the way parts are measured and manufactured, just as Mr. Carlson did as Founder and CEO of Perceptron for automobile bodies. Dwight founded Xycom in Flint, Michigan at the age of 24, not long after graduating from General Motors Institute in Flint. Today, Mr. Carlson serves on the Advisory Board for the Samuel Zell and Robert H. Lurie Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. Dwight received the 2008 Manufacturing Leadership Award from the Shien-Ming Wu Foundation in recognition of his leadership skills and his profound impact on the manufacturing industry.

  • Jürgen Dennig

    President

    Jürgen Dennig has over 28 years of experience in the automotive industry in automatic dispensing and vision systems. He holds a MS in Engineering Studies from Esslingen University of Applied Sciences in Germany. Prior to joining Coherix, Jürgen served as the Vice President Electronics within the IAS Division at Atlas Copco. He has extensive experience in creating successful global sales strategies for dispensing and vision systems. With his strong Leadership capabilities and expert strategic planning experience, matched with his strong customer relationship building that has extended over the last 28 years, he drove advanced technology into the global marketplace.

  • Craig A. Manning

    Vice President of Engineering & Operations

    Craig A. Manning has over 27 years of experience in motion control, advanced robotics, machine learning, machine vision, 100% inspection, and factory automation. He has a multi-disciplinary engineering degree in Computer Integrated Manufacturing from Purdue University. Craig also has 15 years of executive engineering experience building and growing distributed cross-functional engineering teams in fast-paced organizations. Before Coherix, Craig was a Senior Director of Engineering at Perceptron/Atlas Copco.

  • Douglas Davidson

    Chief Technology Officer

    Douglas Davidson is a highly experienced software engineer with 31 years of software design, implementation, and leadership experience on embedded, VxWorks, Linux, and MS Windows platforms. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Douglas was one of the founding members of Coherix, bringing his tenure to over 19 years. He’s leading the company to the Factory of the Future by designing products that not only provide robust 3D inspection, but also prevent any issues from occurring.

Mr. Carlson drives the company’s global vision and strategy. He has built Coherix into a leader in the 3D machine vision industry. He also serves on the Leveraging Innovation Technology (LIT) Team, an organization that works to accelerate innovative manufacturing technology into the auto industry. An entrepreneur, Mr. Carlson founded Perceptron and Xycom.

Philip Rice II Director

Mr. Rice is the Chairman of the Board and CFO of Zivo Bioscience, Inc., a publicly held company. Mr. Rice is the managing partner and founder of Legacy Results, a firm providing strategic advisory and financial services to growing companies. Prior to founding Legacy Results in 2001, Mr. Rice held various leadership positions such as COO at Stahl’s Inc., CFO at Gallagher-Kaiser Corp., and President and CFO at Speedy International, Inc. He started his professional career at Deloitte & Touche, where he became a Certified Public Account (CPA) in 1979.

Jun Ni, PhD Director

Professor Ni is a Chaired Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Michigan, Director of the S.M. Wu Manufacturing Research Center, and also serves as the Dean of the Joint Institute between Michigan and Jiao Tong University. In addition, he is Co-Director of the Multi-Campus National Science Foundation Center for Intelligent Maintenance Systems, a Deputy Director of the NSF-Engineering Research Center for Reconfigurable Manufacturing Systems, a Collegiate Professor for the S.M. Wu Center for Manufacturing Science. Dr. Ni holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin plus a B.S. in Mechanical and Production Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University. His research interests include: manufacturing process modeling, analysis and prediction, precision engineering and metrology, cutting tool development, quality control methods, intelligent maintenance systems, and fault monitoring and diagnosis.

Jinyang Wen Investor Director

Ms. Jinyang Wen was elected to the Coherix, Inc. Board of Directors on October 19, 2018 to serve as Investor Director for Xintai U.S. Investment, LLC. She studied in the Beijing Xindongfang English School and has attended the University of Washington since 2015, majoring in Communications. Some of her social and volunteer work includes China Giant Panda Protection and Research Center, the University of Washington Orc Outdoor Organization and employment at the University of Washington Library. She speaks fluent Chinese and English.
