Sales Engineer

Qualified candidates must possess a technical degree or equivalent technical experience with at least 5 years in selling capital equipment into the automotive industry with a successful track record in selling vision systems into body, assembly, and/or powertrain plants. Knowledgeable of the Midwest Automotive Industry, self motivated, high energy and an independent thinker who works well within a team to solve complex customer problems. The right candidate posses key customer relationships within the top ten automotive OEM’s and First Tier suppliers, and is experienced using Must be willing to travel and embrace The Coherix Way and the Business Philosophy.

Customer Support Engineer

Qualified candidates must be proficient with installation, setup, training and ongoing support of adhesive dispensing and sealant hardware and software products within automotive manufacturing customer environments (onsite and/or remote access). Also responsible to bring critical customer feedback to the application engineering, sales and marketing and product development teams to make improvements where possible. Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience. Must have Mechanical and electrical knowledge, excellent customer relation skills, Microsoft Word/ Excel/PowerPoint, Pro-Active, Solidworks, ability to read blueprints and willing and able to travel internationally. Must be flexible with short notice travel, proactive and self motivated, Associates level degree or equivalent in electronics, willingness to work extra effort, and okay with 50+% of time traveling (domestic and international travel) – no more than 2 weeks away at a time, for international travel.

Desired Skills/Experience: Robotics, PLC Programming, Coding, Dispensing Materials. Machine Vision, project management, customer service, technical writing, knows dispensing equipment, military experience, positive and confident personality. NOTE: Japanese language skills desired but not necessary.

Application Engineer

Apply principles and theories from mechanical engineering programs to resolve technical issues. Design and develop new products and improve existing products. Responsible for installation to see that machines and equipment are installed and functioning according to specifications. Conduct feasibility studies on sample parts from the customers and generate reports. Program on industrial robot and collaborative robot to test the communication setup and simulate the manufacturing process in plants. Perform data analysis on installed equipment to statistically visualize the performance. Use AutoCAD, UG NX, Abaqus, Microsoft Office, LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, Python, Mathematica, and C++. Req: Master in Mechanical Engineering. Ref: #5135.
