Ann Arbor, Michigan, September 28, 2012 — Coherix®, a leader in advanced Robust3D Measurement and Inspection solutions for manufacturing, recently closed on a new private investment to accelerate product development and expansion in Michigan and around the globe.  As a result of this funding, the company plans to hire additional software development and sales resources by years end.  The new hires will represent a 20% increase in staffing for the 2012 fiscal year.

On the announcement of these plans, Coherix® CEO Dwight Carlson said, “We are an innovative company pioneering true 3 dimensional (3D) machine vision technologies. Our solutions help visualize manufacturing process performance using high resolution 3D imagery.  By adding team members, we will continue to expand our capabilities and product offerings, creating 3D hardware and software that provides high value to manufacturing.  Our goal for Coherix® has never changed since day one; to be a Large, Rapidly Growing, Highly Profitable, Global, Public Company.  Around here we call that the “High Five”.  This additional investment helps us move closer to that goal.”
